CWG AA Badenhorst Auction Red

Die Trauben wurden gemeinsam natürlich vergoren. Traditionelle Extraktionsmethoden wurden während der Gärung verwendet, gefolgt von einer langen, ausgedehnten Mazeration auf den Schalen. Der Wein wurde 36 Monate im Fass gereift, bevor er ohne Filtration in Flaschen abgefüllt wurde. Verkostungsnotiz: Vollmundig, komplex, mit ausgezeichneter Lagerfähigkeit.

The grapes were naturally fermented together. Traditional extraction methods were used during fermentation, followed by a long, extended maceration on the skins. The wine was aged in barrel for 36 months before being bottled without filtration. Tasting Note: Full-bodied, complex, with excellent shelf life.

CWG SOLO the Guildsman 2006

Dichte, tintige rote Farbe. Aromen von Leder, Vanille und Rooibos-Tee sind in einer komplexen Nase verwoben. Der Gaumen ist ein ziemlich muskulöser Rahmen, der einen eleganten Kern enthält; eher wie ein Balletttänzer. Die Tannine sind noch jugendlich und ausdauernd.

Our Weissburgunder plays with its expressive, clear bouquet. It produces a lot of stone fruit, banana and ripe pear, wonderfully complemented by very subtle walnut notes.

The taste shows an elegant, slim body with a creamy acid structure. Rather, it shows an abundance of ripe, yellow fruits on the tongue, especially honeydew melon. Especially in the aftertaste it convinces with its creamy freshness.

A light, elegant summer wine, a fine alternative to Riesling.
